Dallas Mavericks blogger Ian Levy has an interesting take on how the Mavs were able to sweep the Lakers in this blog post here from excellent Mavs blog The Two Man Game.
Levy, in trying to grasp for straws to explain the “stunning turn of events” that led to the sweep, goes beyond crediting the obvious (superior Mavs bench, the Lakers’ “lax defense”) and posts some fun (and funny) graphs to portray the snowballing frustration of the Lakers and the umbrage taken by spurned Mavs’ sixth man Jason Terry (who lost the Sixth Man Award to Lamar Odom).
It’s a good and entertaining read for those still trying to figure out how the Lakers got very lost on the way to the Finals. Great stuff from The Two Man Game.
